Ms. Irene Godson is a seasoned finance and business executive with over 15 years of senior leadership experience in the telecommunications, Insurance and Banking sectors. A certified Public Accountant (ACPA) with an MBA, Bachelor in Accounting and finance. Ms. Irene is a certified Director, trained and recognized by Tanzania Institutes of Directors and a Certified in Business Sustainability Management, with strong expertise in financial management, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, strategic planning and business transformation. Throughout my career, I have held senior executive positions including Chief Financial Officer and Acting Country Manager, where I provided leadership in financial stewardship, strategic execution, governance enhancement and operational oversight within highly regulated industries. Ms. Irene Godson possess strong knowledge and practical experience in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory frameworks, audit oversight and board governance responsibilities. I am recognized for professionalism, integrity, accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at executive and board levels. Since July 2025, I have been self-employed as a businesswoman, focusing on entrepreneurship and business development initiatives while continuing to pursue opportunities in corporate leadership, governance and advisory.
