Dr Mastidia Elizeus Byanyuma

Dr. Mastidia Elizeus Byanyuma is an accomplished academic, researcher, and governance professional with over two decades of leadership experience in higher education, research, and institutional management. Her multidisciplinary background in Engineering, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Finance enables her to integrate technical, digital, and financial perspectives in strategic decision-making. She has extensive experience in institutional governance, leadership, and policy implementation and is recognised for her professionalism, integrity, sound judgement, and commitment to excellence. Her research focuses on broadband connectivity for rural and underserved communities, digital innovation, financial and digital inclusion, and ICT-enabled socio-economic development. Dr. Byanyuma brings to the Board the ability to integrate engineering, ICT, and financial perspectives with a strong understanding of rural development, women's economic empowerment, digital innovation, and development finance to inform strategic investment decisions and promote sustainable socio-economic development.
